My Local Home Show (MLHS): When was Off the Wall established in Tucson and what do you specialize in?
Off the Wall (OTW): Jay Sherman opened our doors here in Tucson in 1979 as a franchise with other locations in California and Chicago. And now, we are the only location remaining. Our main demographic has been retirees with second homes that are smaller. They need to use the smaller square footage more efficiently. Wall beds have been a popular solution for them.
MLHS: If you could shout a message from the rooftops that everyone could here that makes you unique, what would that be?
OTW: Give us one room and we will give you two rooms! We specialize in transforming smaller rooms into multi-use rooms for maximum usage. With wall beds our customers can have an office that doubles as a guest when they have visitors in town.
MLHS: That is very unique! What else do you guys do besides wall beds?
OTW: We offer residential as well as commercial furniture solutions. We custom design and manufacture fine cabinetry millworks for kitchens, home libraries, office reception areas, platform beds, home offices that helps utilize a space for maximum efficiency.
